Men's Shed
Men's Shed is an organization intended to provide a destination for men where they can socially interact with other men to share skills and interests. In a Shed, men get together for activities like woodworking projects, cooking, bike repairs, music, and yelling at the television during the playoffs! Sheds help men gain new purpose after retirement. They encourage men to get out of the house, meet new people, and be productive. Sheds are:
- A gathering place for men of purpose.
- Usually involving a work space, for those who don’t have one or have had to give theirs up.
- Productive...maybe.
- A place to change the world...definitely.
- A helping hand...you bet.
